About The Brand

Since their launch in 2019, Nutraformis had developed a niche following and brand in elite sports, particularly in triathlon and then tennis having secured Andy Murray as an ambassador. Acorn-i was chosen to help Nutraformis build a brand and engage with a broader customer base via Amazon.

Amazon Channel Strategy

Acorn-i evaluated channel and ASIN performance to determine specific areas and action items that would generate positive uplift in sales traction as well as broader brand and product recognition.

We developed a strategy to leverage Amazon Seller Central with the goal of increasing awareness and consideration of Nutraformis products and ultimately sales and repeat purchase. The team developed a strategy focusing on four core pillars:

  • Amazon Retail Fundamentals – account health and listing quality scores.
  • Win in Search – both organic and paid.
  • Customer Engagement – new to brand and existing.
  • Amazon Tentpoles – leveraging promotions, SnS, events, Amazon Badges.

The Results

Both TRR Nutrition and LG Collagen brands have seen strong new customer and revenue growth in 2020 as a result of the strategy and tactics employed.

  • New-to-Brand customer revenues grew +428% YoY.
  • Grew the in-month existing customer segment by +382% from January to December 2020.
  • Average Customer Life-Time Value increased +446%.
  • Integrated Advertising and Promotions strategy delivered >1,500 new customers.
  • Total channel sales grew +331% YoY.

New and Existing Customer Growth

Amazon reaches more than 30 million UK consumers per month with the average shopper visiting the eCommerce giants website just over 1.5 times per week. To achieve long term growth, it’s important for brands to use Amazon to drive new customer acquisition but also grow existing customers segments.

Since working with Nutraformis, we have delivered an effective New-To-Brand customer strategy to build awareness and first purchase of TRR Nutrition and LQ Collagen. Via cross-selling products and ensuring ongoing engagement with new customers, we then drove customer retention with average customer Lifetime Value increasing +446%.
